The Hockessin Montessori School is a caring community where parents, faculty staff join to create a nurturing environment that allows children to grow, learn, and discover their place in the world. Our individualized approach is designed to encourage independent, self-directed learning for lie in a child-centered community valuing grace, courtesy, and respect for others; while fostering pride in individual differences. Our program follows the Montessori Method and emphasizes Mathematics, Language, Humanities, Arts & Sciences while stressing life skills.
The Hockessin Montessori School is accredited by the American Montessori Society and Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, and offers a complete range of educational services for children aged 12 months through 8th grade, including before and after school care and summer programs.
