Established in 1975, NMP provides an exceptional educational experience for young children. The school utilizes the methods and philosophies of Maria Montessori and abides by the guidelines of the American Montessori Society. Its small size affords a homey, family-oriented atmosphere. The caring, long-standing staff promotes a peaceful community by instilling values including respect and cooperation. Each child develops individually as a whole person with a positive self-image. NMP follows a school-year schedule and offers a few weeks of summer camp. The naturally shaded setting allows easy access to Newark, Glasgow, Bear, Middletown, and Elkton, Maryland.
