Wilmington Montessori School, Delaware’s oldest and largest Montessori school, has fostered independent thinking, social responsibility and a passion for lifelong learning in its students for more than 45 years. Rooted in a foundation built when Maria Montessori introduced her child-centered teaching methods more than a century ago, WMS prepares students with the knowledg, creativity, innovative spirit and open-mindedness required by a rapidly changing world. WMS is a co-educational independent school serving the needs of children ages 6 months through 12 years. Located on a 26-acre campus, the school currently serves more than 300 children and offers before and after-care services as well as diversified camp programs.
